Photo Restoration

Computer-generated photo restoration helps preserve memories as well as to keep loved ones near.

The original photo had moisture damage that created pink spots and streaks in the hair and on the faces and clothing of the children. The edges were torn, dry and rolled, causing cracks. Part of a lace collar was missing and there was a hole in the plaid dress.

“Grandpa”

About 150 years old
Original size: 13" x 20"
Finished size: 8" x 10"
The original photo was scraped, cracked and scratched and appeared to be "colorized" with chalk. The top, including the head, was broken off. The full-color restoration was more than the client was expecting.

Process for having a photo restored:

Contact Caroline Design by phone or email.
Send original picture to Caroline Design by Registered Mail.
Consultation. Please note: Not all precious photos can be restored.
Oversize photos or photos with a textured finish will have to be photographed for the additional cost of $17.50.
The restoration will be computer-generated.
The original photo will be shipped with the completed restoration by Registered Mail.
Additional prints can be ordered for an additional charge.

There is no cost for the initial consultation. Pre-payment by check must be made prior to the restoration.
Cost of Photo Restoration - $40.00 per hour.
